Peter Gilling accepts SIU Distinguished Career Award

Urology Bay of Plenty’s Peter Gilling was a presenter at the 35th Congress of the Société Internationale d'Urologie (SIU) in Melbourne yesterday on his area of expertise: “Is Holmium Laser the Gold Standard Surgical Treatment for Bladder Outlet Obstruction Due to Benign Prostatic Enlargement?”
At the congress Peter was also honoured with a SIU Distinguished Career Award for his contribution to the field of Urology. SIU is the peak professional body for urological surgeons in Australia and New Zealand with a mission to enable urologists in all nations, through international cooperation in education and research, to apply the highest standards of urological care to their patients.
